| LI Shi-zhen carried out a thorough reformation and compiled the world-known Compendium of Materia Medica.LI Shi-zhen was a famous scholar of the materia medica who used the compilation style of historiography literature by ZHU Xi for his own reference.He opened up a new road for compiling the literature of materia medica. |
