Abstract: |
[Objective] Radix Scutellariae, the dried roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (Labiatae),was a well-known traditional Chinese medicine, having a relatively high applied cost and good ready market. The aim of this experiment was to evaluate the quality of Radix Scutellariae and provide the scientific foundation for the GAP standardization for planting by comparing the trait, the micro identification, the physical chemistry identification, the content of virtual components and microelement between natural and planting Radix Scutellariae. [Methods] The trait, the issue, the powder, the physical chemistry were compared by the science of Chinese medicine testimony; Virtual components baicalin extracted by the science of Chinese medicine extractional regurgitation and the content of the virtual components determined by the HPLC; The content of four inorganic elements was also determined by the atomic absorption spectrometer. [Results] There was some variation in trait of the two because they live in deferent place and substantial agreement on the construction of the issue and the chemical composition; the planting was higher in the content of baicalin, lower in the content of the inorganic element-Mn,Zn,K than the natural. [Conclusions] The natural can be replaced by the planting as the merchandise resources of the Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. |
