| 细胞因子风暴是新型冠状病毒感染引起免疫病理损伤的关键机制。免疫细胞的活化程度决定细胞因子风暴的严重程度，过度活化的免疫细胞释放大量细胞因子，导致细胞因子风暴和多器官功能衰竭。细胞因子风暴引起的多器官功能衰竭是重症及危重症新型冠状病毒肺炎（COVID-19）患者死亡的主要原因。中医药通过抑制免疫细胞过度激活和降低炎性细胞因子能有效控制细胞因子风暴。从COVID-19引起细胞因子风暴的损伤机制出发，讨论中医药在防治细胞因子风暴中的作用，为明晰COVID-19的发病机制和临床治疗提供参考。 |

| Cytokine storm is the key mechanism of immunopathological damage caused by novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2) infection. The activation degree of immune cells determines the severity of cytokine storm. Overactivated immune cells release a large number of cytokines,which leads to cytokine storm and multiple organ failure. Multiple organ failure caused by cytokine storm is the main cause of death in patients with severe and critically ill coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19). Traditional Chinese medicine can effectively control cytokine storm by inhibiting over-activation of immune cells and reducing inflammatory cytokines. Based on the damage mechanism of cytokine storm caused by COVID-19,this paper discusses the role of traditional Chinese medicine in preventing and treating cytokine storm,and provides reference for clarifying the pathogenesis and clinical treatment of COVID-19. |
