Abstract: |
The important role of the intestinal flora for human health is constantly being revealed. The intestinal flora achieves the mutual interaction between the intestine and the brain through neurotransmitters, immunity, endocrine, metabolites and other ways, thereby affecting mental and emotional diseases. The occurrence and development of generalized anxiety disorder, as a kind of mental and emotional disease, is closely related to the imbalance of microbiome-gut-brain axis. Studies have confirmed that traditional Chinese medicine treatments such as abdominal massage and acupuncture have a positive effect on the prevention and treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. This article will take the microbiome-gut-brain axis as an entry point to explore the feasibility of abdominal massage to prevent and treat generalized anxiety disorder, aiming to provide new ideas and opportunities for prevention and treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. |
