Abstract: |
The diagnosis and treatment of functional bowel disease from the perspective of combination of disease and syndrome reflects the characteristics of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The connection of TCM clinical and basic experiments requires an animal model combining disease and syndrome. Therefore, constructing an animal model of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowels yndrome (IBS-D) under the mode of combining disease and syndrome in accordance with clinical characteristics will help people to further understand the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease, so as to give play to the syndrome differentiation advantage of TCM. At present, most scholars often use a multi-factor compound method to prepare diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome animal models. The common IBS-D animal models in the combination of disease and syndrome models in China include liver depression and spleen deficiency, spleen and kidney yang deficiency, and spleen and stomach damp-heat. This article reviews the research progress of IBS-D experimental animal models under the combination mode of disease and syndrome, with a view to providing a basis for the preparation of experimental animal models of TCM. |
