Abstract

Objective: To explore the curative effect of integrated Huang Qi,Salviae with Western Medicine on incipient diabetic nephropathy(IDN).Methods: Eighty patients with IDN were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group(40 cases)was treated by integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine therapy,which was carried out by using Huang Qi and Salviae Injection on the basis of controlling Blood Glucose with Western Medicine effectively.Fourty patients in the control group were treated with Western Medicine alone.The course of treatment was one month.Changes of symptoms,signs and related laboratory parameters were ob-served before and after treatment.Results: The total effective rate in the treatment group was 90% while that in the control group was55%,and the difference between two group was significant (P<0.01).The related parameters in cluding 24 hours urinary albumin excretion,blood sugar,microalbuminuria,blood and urineβ 2 -microglobulin,and blood lipids were all improved after treatment in the treat-ment group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion: The curative effect of integrated Huang Qi,Salviae Injection with Western Medicine was better than that of Western Medicine alone on treating IDN. |
