| Yinchen (Herba Artemisiae Scopariae),which is called main herb for Jaundice,is used for many syndromes of Jaundice.It can be known that clearing away heat-dampness to eliminate Jaundice is the main function of Yinchen and smooth urination is the main way of removing dampness by analyzing the idiosyncrasy,function and the factor,mechanism,location and unique symptoms.So the Jaundice which can be treated by Yinchen is due to the dampness stagnated in the liver and spleen.It is forbidden that Yinchen is used to Jaundice without dampness.Accombation with other herbs according to syndromes and accurate decoction should be attached more attention to acquire good effect. |
