| LIU Wan-su was one of the four doctors in the times of the Jin and Yuan dynasties.LIU Wan-su hought that the cause of edema was impairment of dispersion of qi and fluid due to dampness and heat,it usually was heat and excessive syndrome.In treatment,methods of smoothing and removing water was applied,hence water and dampness evil was removed by diuresis.Its theory on edema has important influence on the Jin and Yuan dynasties and later generations. |
