| [Objective] To observe the effects of medical herbs combined with internal cholecfochal drainage on liver and lung damage in rats with acute cholangitis of seve e type (ACST).[Methods] The experimental preparation with ACST and choleclochal internal drainage in rats waa made.Fiftythree rats were randomly divided into four groups: the normal group,model group,internal choledochal drainage group and medical herbs group.Morphological changes of rat's liver and lung in various groups were examined under microscope.The PGF1α/TXB2 ratio of hepatic and pulmonary tissue samples from variurs groups were determined with radio immunoassay.[Result] The damage of liver and lung in rats with acute cholangitis of severe type shoived a marked pathlogical change.The PGF1α/TXB2 ratio in hepatic and pulmonary tissue dropped significantly.Mild and moderate morphological changes in hepatic and pulmonary tissue samples were found in the treated group by medical herbs combined with internal choledlochal drainage.The PGF1α/TXB2 ratio of the above-mentioned tissues showed a remarkable increase.[Conclusion] The therapy with medical herbs comhinecl with choledochal drainage can protect the liver and lung of rats with acute cholangitis of severe type. |
