Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the Antitussive,Expectorant and Antiashmatic effect of Ramulus Salicis Babylonicae(RSB) [Methods] The coants and latent period of cough induced by ammonia,the output quantity of phenol reel from the trachea in mice and the latent period,the incubation of convulsion and falling down and the falling occasion in animals of asthma in duced by histamine in guinea pig as the parameters were recorded.[Result] The results showed that BSB could obviously decrease the frequency and prolong the latent period of cough induced by ammonia,increase the quantity of phenol red output from the trachea in mice,and prolong the latent period of falling down,but could not decrease the convulsion frequency in guinea pig with asthma induced by histamme [Conclusion] RSB has significant antiasthmatic,antitussive anti expectorant effects. |
