Abstract
|
[Objective] To discuss the growth and spread of rat marrow stromal cells (rMSCS) in vitro and the probability of Salvianolic acid B induce rMSCS to cardiac-like muscle cells.[Methods] The rMSCS from adult rats, which attached to the walls in cell culture, were isolated and purified for study. The cardiomyogenic induction was started by adding Salvianolic acid B to the culture medium, and the proliferation and differentiation of them were observed.[Results] The rMSCS grew in colonies, toke the appearance of fibroblasts and differentiated into cardiac-like muscle cells after adding Salvianolic acid B. The rate of differentiation approximated 30% in 4 weeks.[Conclusion] Cardiomyocytes can be generated from rMSCS in vitro, and the marrow stromal cell is one of the best resources of donor cardiomvocvtes. |
