| Abstract

| LIU Fang was famous pediatrist in Song dynasty.The new book of young-young was a large pediatrics writings on the China ancient times.There were forty volumes,six hundred and sixty-seven phylums and nearly one hundred million words in the book.The content of book concluded:general introduction of pediatrics,characteristic of disease sources,impringting,regulation,prevention and protection,initial diseases,congenital diseases and mixed diseases of internal medicine.His academic contribution conclude three aspects.At first,to first time overally collect and put in order pediatrics literatures.To check and comment the quoted classical medicine books of pediatrics and conerve considerable ancient lost-books.Second,to construct academic system of pediatrics.Third,to flourish and gather academic quintessence.The new book of young-young had collected and remained all kinds of research acinevement and clinical experiences of pediatrics which concluded ancient medicine books,recent formula books and private knacks,etc. |
