| Abstract

| [Objective] To investigate the therapeutics effect of integrated therapy with Western and Chinese Medicines on sudden hearing loss.[Methods] Sixty cases with sudden hearing loss ewere randomly divided into 2 groups,30 cases in treating group treated by an integrated therapy with Western and Chinese Medicines and 30 cases in controlling group treated only by chemical drugs.[Results] A total effective rate of 86.36% was seen in treating group,significantly higher than that of 66.67% in controlling group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The integrated therapy with Western and Chinese Medicines is effective on sudden hearing loss and is worth to be used in clinic practice. |
