| [Objective] To study clinical effect of abdominal manipulation methods and influence of motilin in chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) patients.[Methods] The 60 cases of CFS patients were randomly divided into abdominal manipulation and acupuncture group.To observe clinical effect and contents of motilin before and after treatment.[Results] The contents of motilin in the CFS patients decreased and lower than normal level after the treatment of abdominal manipulation.the contents of motilin increased and restored normal (P<0.01),with significant difference as compared with that before treatment (P<0.01).[Conclusion] Abdominal manipulation had an obvious therapeutic effect on chronic fatigue syndrome,and the therapeutic effect possibly through regulative action of motilin functions. |
