Effect of XinFuKang on left ventricular remodeling and enhancing angiogenesis after myocardial infarction in rats

Abstract
    [Objective] To study the impact of XinFuKang on left ventricular remodeling (LVRM) and angiogenesis after myocardial infarction (MI) in rats.[Methods] The model of myocardial infarction was induced by ligating the descending left coronary artery in male rats.Twentyfour hours later,48 survied rats with AMI were randomly divided into myocardial infarction control group,sham-operated group,Xinkukang middle dose group and Xinfukang high dose group.After four weeks of therapy,cardia tissue section were observed by immunohistochemistry.[Results] Compared to sham operated,Xinfukang high dose group can enhance angiogenesis and inhibit collagen fibers increased and disordered.[Conclusion] Xinfukang can prevent LVRM after MI in rats,prohibit collagen fibers hyperplasia and enhance angiogenesis.
