| After analyzing in detail the various kinds of literature, correlated intimately with the medicine in earlier Qin dynasty period and some legends and archaeologic material it was considered that the compound prescriptions generated at Zhanguo period fromearly to middle stage. The accelerating cause for the generation of the compound prescription and its effect on TCM therapeutics was explored. The article thought that the level of compound prescription was not yet high and structure was simple and could not substitute for the single medicine to occupy the chief part in the clinical treatment. The "Fifty-twoPrescription" might represent the highest level and achievement ofthe science of TCMformula in the earlier Qin dynastyperiod. |
