Abstract
    [Objective] To observe the effect of Zishen Tiaochong (ZSTC) method on the expression of ovaries activin A in rats with induced ovulation and explore the molecular action mechanism on promoting follicular development and ovulation.[Methods] The female rats were randomly divided into the high and low dosage of TCM group,positive control group and model group and were individually administrated to GongxueningⅡ,Ankunzanyu pills and physiologic saline in fourteen days. To establish the model of follicular development stage by injecting PMSG (50 IU) and establish the model of preovulatory phase by injecting HCG (30 IU).To prepare the ovaries sections and determine the expression of ovaries activin A in rats with induced ovulation in different developmental stage by using immunohistochemical method.[Results] The ovaries activin A of GongxueningⅡ group was obviously higher than that of model group on the masccline area,the rate of masccline area,photodensity value and average optical of follicular development stage and preovulatory phase (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The effect of high dosage group were obviously higher than that of low dosage and positive control group.The above indexes of follicular development stage was obviously higher than that of preovulatory phase in rats of every group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).[Conclusion] Zishen Tiaochong method may promote growth and development of ovarian follicle and ovulation and its effect mechanism may have a related with increasing the expression of ovaries activin A.
