Abstract

The inspection and palpation was regarded as an important diagnostic method in the early traditional Chinese medicine. The more detail description was firstly seen in Zhubingyuanhoulun (Treatise on the Causes and syndromes of Diseases). After that, many medical books, such as Qianjinfang (Thousand Golden Prescriptions), Waitaimiyao (The Medical Secrets of an Official), Taipingshenghuifang(The Peaceful Holy Benevolent Prescriptions), Xiaoeryaoshengzhijue (Key to Therapeutics of Children's Diseases) and Youyouxinshu(A New Book of Pediatrics) etc. already became the important technique in the diagnosis of children diseases. |
