Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the effect of Glucoperiplocymarin on left ventricular structure and function in chronic heart failure(CHF)rats by Color Doppler-echocardiography. [Methods] The model of CHF was induced byligatingthe anterior descendingbranch of the left coronaryartery. The rats were at randomdivided intosixgroups: shamoperation group, model group, digoxin group, three treatment groups treated with 8 mg/kg, 4 mg/kg and 2 mg/kg dosage of Glucoperiplocymarin. After administration for 4 weeks, The effect of Glucoperiplocymarin treatment on LVDd, LVDs, LVSd, LVSs, LVPWd, LVPWs, EF, FS, LVEDV, LVESV, SV was observed. [Results] All the treated groups could decrease LVDd and LVDs in different degree, and there was significant difference between the Glucoperiplocymarin 8 mg/kg dosage treated group、digoxin group and model group (P<0.05, P<0.01);All the treated groups could increase EF、FS and decrease LVEDV and LVESV. Compared with model group, EF and LVESV of the Glucoperiplocymarin 8 mg/kg、4 mg/kg dosage treated group and FS of the Glucoperiplocymarin 8mg/kg dosage treated group had significant difference (P<0.05, P<0.01). [Conclusion] Glucoperiplocymarin could improve the left ventricular structure and function in chronic heart failure rats. There was a trend that the effects of 8mg/kg dose group of the Glucoperiplocymarin were better than others. |
