Abstract
[Objective] To study the Effect of the technique of vacuum air current for breakdown of plant cell wall (AVPB) in Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide (GLP) extraction. [Methods] Ganoderma lucidum, broken and not broken by AVPB was crushed into 1 gramclumps. They were put into water at 40℃, 60℃ and 80℃ for 2 h and then the content of GLP was determined. The samples were obtained after immersion in water at 80℃ for 1 h, 2 h, 3 h, 4 h and 5 h to test the content of GLP. Simultaneously, the content of GLP was alsodetermined in the broken and nonbroken medical material. [Results] Although the breakdown procedure of plant cell wall by VADW could make GLP lost 14%, the extraction rate of GLP frombroken Glanoder lucidumwas significantly higher than those fromnon-broken one. [Conclusion] AVPB may significantly increase the extraction efficiency of GLP from Ganoderma lucidum.
