| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the curative effect of Huoxue (activating blood circulation) Jiangtang (decreasing blood sugar) capsule in treating diabetes associated with peripheral neuropathy.[Methods] Sixty patients with peripheral neuropathy complicated in diabetes were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The patients of control group were treated with Methycobal (0.5mg,three times a day) and those of treatment group with Huoxue Jiangtang capsule and Methycobal together.The treatment course was three months.[Results] The total effective rate of treatment group was 86.7% and that of control group was 63.4% with obvious differentiation between them (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Huoxue Jiangtang capsule has a better clinical effect in treating peripheral neuropathy complicated in diabetes. |
