Abstract
    [Objective] To observe the expression of interleukin 1β (IL-1β) during the development of follicle and the effect of GonXueNing Chonji No.Ⅱ (Stopping the hemorrhage from the uterus) on it.[Methods] immature female rats were randomly divided into model control group,positive control group,GongXueNing Ⅱ high and low dosage group.They were treated with distilled water,Ankunzanyu Pill and GongXueNing Chongji No.Ⅱ (taken medicine after infused in boiling water) respectively.14 days later a model of ovulation in rats was induced by subcutaneous FMSG+hCG.The animals were sacrificed at development period of follicle and preovulatory period and their ovaries were harvested.The expression of IL-1β pof pathologic section in the different development periods was measured with immunohistochemistry.[Results] In the model group the IL-1β pexpression,the positive cell area,the rate of positive area,the integrated optical density,the average optical density in preovulatory period were obviously higher than that in the development period of follicles (P<0.05).In GongXueNing No.II group the above parameters of IL-1β p expression at the development period of follicles and preovulatory period were all higher than the model control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).All the parameters described above at preovulatory period were obviously higher than that at the corresponding period of follicle development (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Among them,the effect of high dosage group was more obvious than that in low dosage group and the positive control group.[Conclusion] IL-1β pwas expressed and increased gradually during the process of follicle development.GongXue Ning Chongji No.B can significantly increase the expression of IL-1β pand can accelerate the development of follicle and induce the ovulation.
