| A lot of controversy was existed all along about the pathogenesis of the Banxia Xiexin decoction.Some scholars believed that the pathogenesis was mutual condensation.of invisible Qi and visible turbid damp.The others considered that it was mutual condensation of cold Qi and heat Qi.These two viewpoints existed simultaneously and conflicted each other and it was difficult to say who was true and who was the error.The correlation between them was explored based on the connotation of simultaneously using both cold and hot drugs and the connotation of that pungent drugs can disperse and bitter drugs can descend.With the method of theoretic exploration it was determined that the pathogenesis nature of Banxia Xiexin decoction in Treatise on Febrile Diseases was deficiency of stomach,adverse rising of pathogenic factors,the mutual condensation of invisible Qi and the visible turbid damp. |
