Abstract
[Objective] To discuss the effective mechanism of Sitian acupoints prescription in treating disease of vertebrae cervicales of rats through observing IL-1β,iNOS,COX-2 and MMP-3 expression change.[Methods] Sixty Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:sham operated group, model group,Sitian acupoint acupuncture group,Jiaji acupoint group. The disease of vertebrae cervicales induced by imbalance of dynamic-static force was established.Treating with Sitian acupoint and jiaji acupoint was given for 4 days.IL-1,iNOS,COX-2 MMP-3 enzyme and MMP-3 protein were determined by SABC method.1,2 and 4 weeks after disease.[Results] Sitian acupoint prescription could obviously inhibit IL-1β,iNOS,COX-2 and MMP-3 protein expression.[Conclusion] Sitian acupoint prescription may retard the retrograde change of cervical intervertebral disk and its effective mechanism might be related with inhibiting the periphery inflammatory factor and MMP-3 protein expression.
