Abstract
The nomenclature of the syndrome type of Zangfu was a work any time in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine. Its accuracy was directly related to the success or failure of the therapeutic effect. Three rules of the nomenclature of the syndrome type of Zangfu were summed up through reading 300 kinds of ancient books of Chinese medicine. They were extracting syndrome factors around the main symptoms, simplifying and concentrating the syndrome name through taking or ruling out the syndrome factors, determining the degree according to the specific condition with flexible words. Learning the experiences of the ancient physicians maybe helpful in raising the level of Zangfu differentiation of symptoms and signs and clinical therapeutic effect.
