Abstract
|
[Objection] To observe the effect of curcumin, berberine and its compatibility on glucose and lipid metabolism in db/db mice, and provide experimental basis for the rationality of compatibility.[Methods] Curcumin, berberine and combined application of both were orally administrated to the db/ db mice for 28 days,to observe the effect of body weight, organ coefficient, based glucose, glucose tolerance curve,CHO,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C in db/db mice.[Results] All treated groups can significantly reduce the db/db mice liver coefficient (P<0.05) ,curcumin low-dose (19.5 mg/kg) berberine high-dose (144 mg/kg) compatibility group and curcumin high-dose (39 mg/kg) berberine high-dose (144 mg/kg) compatibility group can significantly reduce the db/db mice serum-based glucose (P<0.05) ,curcumin low-dose (19.5 mg/kg) berberine high-dose (144 mg/kg) compatibility group and curcumin high-dose (39 mg/kg) berberine high-dose (144 mg/kg1) compatibility group can significantly improve and regulate the glucose tolerance curve of db/db mice (P<0.05) ,curcumin low-dose (19.5 mg/kg) group, curcumin high-dose (39 mg/kg) berberine low-dose (72 mg/kg) compatibility group and curcumin low-dose (19.5 mg/ kg) berberine high-dose (144 mg/kg) compatibility group can significantly reduce the level of the TG in db/db mice (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The compatibility of curcumin with berberine can significantly improve the glucose and lipids metabolism disorders of the db/db mice to a certain extent, and its effect better than the separate administration group, and curcumin low-dose (19.5 mg/kg) berberine high-dose (144 mg/kg) compatibility group integrated to show a more significant effect. |
