Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the mechanism happened in CNS of rats having a tendency of type 2 diabetes induced by psychological stress and the regulatory effect of Shenxin No.5.[Method] The model was induced by intraperitoneal infusion of STZ in small dosage combined with multiple chronic psychological stimulations, including restriction, rotation and crowding.Using in situ hybridization the effect of psychological stress on the expression of c-fosmRNA and CFRmRNA of paraventriculares nucleus (PVN) of hypothalamus was observed.[Results] Compared with the normal group, the transcription level of both c-fosmRNA and CFRmRNA in stimulation only group was increased (P<0.01). The group of STZ plus stimulation was considerably higher than other group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).In Chinese herbs group both expression was all decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01).[Conclusion] The CNS mechanism of the onset of type 2 diabetes induced by psychological stress was closely connected with the expression of c-fosmRNA and CRFmRNA.That maybe one of the objective evidences of the disorder of Qi movement of emotional disease.
