| [Objective] To observe the clinical effect of the combined traditional Chinese medicine therapy in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR).[Methods] 64 CSR patients were randomly divided into comprehensive treatment group and control group.The comprehensive treatment group was treated with herb steaming,cupping,traction,acupuncture,massage therapy,and the control group was treated by pure Chinese massage.Total treatment period was 28 days.[Results] In the comprehensive treatment group 16 cases were cured,9 cases were significantly effective,4 cases were effective and 2 cases were failured.The total cure rate was 93.55%.Meanwhile,in the control group,11 cases were cured,5 cases were significantly effective,8 cases were effective and 9 cases were failured,and its total cure rate was 72.73%.[Conclusion] The combined traditional Chinese medicine therapy has the advantage of short treating course,quick curative effect,high cure rate,and low recurrence rate. |
