| The author considered that the study of syndrome differentiation in type 2 diabetes (T2DM) should be integrating both horizontal study with macro-syndrome differentiation and micro-syndrome differentiation and the vertical study with syndrome evolution as the key and integrating of disease and syndrome.That is through stratifying of the complex syndromes or analyzing it paragraph by paragraph,starting research from the single syndrome element,the common and individual characteristics of the syndromes were thoroughly explored.That was helpful for controlling the evolution rule of the syndromes in T2DM and guiding the clinical diagnosis and treatment. |
