| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To determine the effect of Chinese medicine retention enema on chronic prostatitis [Methods] We retrieved all the case-control studies on Chinese medicine retention enema for chronic prostatitis in CNKI databases,Combined with artificial retrieval relevant professional periodicals and traditional Chinese medicine journals according to enrolling and exclusion standard,screening appropriate literature,and performed meta-analyses of the included studies with the software Revman 4.2.and publication bias assessment and sensitivity analysis.[Results] Four articles were included in this study,163 cases were cumulated,There were 125 cases in the control group.Compared with control,the effects and cure rate were improved significantly in Chinese medicine retention enema group (P<0.01),in which the effective rate increased by 23.4% (integrated RR,1.34;95% CI,1.18 1.52.The cure rate increased by 25.4 percent (integrated RR 2.53;95% CI,1.61,3.98) [Conclusion] The cure effect is definite in treating chronic prostatitis with Chinese medicine retention enema. |
