Abstract
|
[Objective] Directed by the thoery of diffirentiation based on the four stages:wei qi ying xue in the school of seasonal febrile disease, we discussed the combination of TCM with western medicine in the treatment of leucemia patients with infectious fever. [Method] Sixty-three patients diagnosed as leucemia with infectious fever were divided into two groups (33 cases in the treatment group, 30 cases in the matched group). Both groups were treated with symptomatic and supportive treatment such as antibiotics, as well as treatment aimed at their primary disease. All the patients were divided into weifen syndrome, qifen syndrome, yingfen syndrome, and xuefen syndrome according to their symptoms and physical signs. The treatment group were treated after analysing and differentiating the development of the four stages:wei, qi, ying and xue. Record the effective ratio of all patients in 24 hours after medication, and record the desending extent of the temperature in 3 days and in 7 days. [Result] The effective tatio of the treatment group was obviously better than the matched group after medication in 24 hours (P<0.05), the statistical change between the groups does make sense. The treatment group divided into types of syndromes had a terrier decreasing extent of temperature compared with the matched group (P<0.05), and the difference was sensible. [Conclusion] The group treated with the combination of TCM with western medicine is more effective in reducing the temperature than the group treated with single antibiotics, meanwhile the former group controls the temperature of leucemia patients better. This conclusion is good to the clinical treatment of leucemia patients with infectious fever. |
