Abstract
|
[Objective] To explain the biological basis of the syndrome deeply by investigating the changes of cellular rheology and serum free calcium in rat with external manifestations of blood stasis syndrome induced by cold. [Methods] The rat model of blood stasis syndrome induced by cold was set up by using the methods of injecting adrenalin and being immersed in ice water. After finishing the experiment, the index of serum free calcium, erythrocyte aggregation, erythrocyte distortion, erythrocyte rigidity, hematocrit and blood sedimentation were determined. [Results] In the model group, serum free calcium, blood sedimentation, erythrocyte aggregation, erythrocyte rigidity and hematocrit obviously increased and erythrocyte distortion decreased, which were different from normal control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). [Conclusion] The external manifestations of blood stasis syndrome induced by cold can be obtained by using the methods of injecting adrenalin and being immersed in ice water. The corresponding changes of cellular rheological index can reflect the biological basis of the blood stasis syndrome exactly. |
