Abstract
[Objective] To preliminarily investigate the distribution of Zang-Fu syndroms and characteristrics of "the lung and the large intestine being exterior-exteriorly related" in acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ALI/ARDS) and further enrich the theoretical connotation of this therory for providing the theoretic basis for clinically treating and preventing scheme.[Methods] Using clinical epidemiology cross-sectional survey method and collecting the clinical symptoms of 86 patients with ALI/ARDS,the condition in distribution of viscera syndromes and the relevance of lung and large intestine were observed and analyzed.Adopting the absolute number to describe count data, binary variable logistic regression was used to analyze these binary classification variables.[Results] ARDS syndromes performance involved lung, heart, kidney and large intestine, showing a involving characteristics of many viscera syndromes. In viscera syndromes, lung and intestine syndromes had obvious correlation, and the specific performance was the significant correlation between the phlegm-heat clogging the lung and insufficiency of the large intestine fluid.[Conclusion] Exploring lung and large intestine syndrome distribution and the correlation feature can be used to understand deeply the theory of "the lung and the large intestine being exterior-interiorly related" and provide the theoretic basis for clinical treatment.
