| Abstract

| To explore the understanding of traditional Chinese medicine theory about time and space for guiding diagnosis and treatment of the disease in clinic. Related statements on time and space in traditional classic theoretic works such as Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic, Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Synopsis of Golden Chamber and the Auxiliary Knack Visceral Line Tactics to Drug law were retrieved, analyzed and summarized. From the descriptions of above traditional classic theoretic works, it is considered that the time and space are united and correlated with transformation in relative strength between Yin and Yang in the theory of Chinese medicine. The recognition on space-time unified view is very important for describing disease, making diagnosis and guiding the treatment. |
