Abstract
|
A brief discussion has performed on the concept and significance of "Jing Cheng He Yi"(having both astute and honest spirit) advocated by SUN Si-Miao. The so-called "Jing Cheng He Yi" means that a respected doctor must have both consummate medical skill and noble moral character. The medical ethics of SUN Si-miao has important guiding significance not only in the ancient medical history but also in the modern medical practice. In actual society, accordingly, the custom of an excellent doctor is praised and the one who has broken the medical moral is criticized. The need of succeeding and developing the medical ethics of "having both astute and honest spirit" advocated by SUN Si-miao is suggested. |
