Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the method of tonifying kidney and essence replenishment in the treatment of pediatric epilepsy tonic-clonic seizure.[Method] In the study,children with Tonic-clonic seizures were randomly divided into three groups.They were treated with Chopped Chang capsule,anti-epilepsy capsule and Carbamazepine respectively for one year.Evaluate the efficacy through observing seizure frequency,duration,EEG Figure,syndrome,cognitive function,liver and kidney function and other security indicators.[Results] In the respect of improving disease curative effect,the three methods have similar effect(P>0.05).Chopped Chang capsule was similar to anti-epilepsy capsule but superior to Carbamazepine in the respect of improving syndrome of TCM(P<0.05).In the respect of improving cognitive function,Chopped Chang capsule was superior to anti-epilepsy capsule and Carbamazepine(P<0.05).[Conclusion] Chopped Chang capsule which based on the method of tonifying kidney and essence replenishment has dual function of anti-epilepsy and increasing the brainpower.It is safe and effective.The study has provided reliable clinical evidence for pediatric epilepsy treatment from the kidney aspect. |
