| Abstract

| [Objective] To prepare ophthalmic solid lipid nanoparticles loading berberine hydrochloride.[Methods] The solid lipid nanoparticles loading berberine hydrochloride were prepared by emulsification-ultrasonic method.The isolated cornea permeation test of the formulation was studied in rabbit.The permeated amount of berberine hydrochloride was determined by high performance liquid chromatography.[Results] The entrapment efficiencies of nanoparticle was 51.1%.The average partic1e size was(19±2)nm.The zeta potential was -11.5 mV.The transparent coefficient of the formulation was(1.46±0.45)×10-6 cm/s,increased for 16% when compared with control (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The preparation technique is simple and stable,which could be used to prepare the solid lipid nanoparticles loading berberine hydrochloride. |
