Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the moisture absorption property of Paeoniae Radix Rubra extract and to investigate the influences of different extractive process and adjuvants. [Methods] The moisture absorption percent of samples were determined with powder moisture absorption method, the moisture absorption properties of Paeoniae Radix Rubra extract and the influences of different extraction process and adjuvant were evaluated by initial moisture absorption speed, moisture absorption accelerated speed, equilibrium moisture absorption time, equilibrium moisture content and the critical relative humidity. [Results] The equilibrium moisture content and the critical relative humidity were both decreased after macroporous resin-adsorption process and different kinds of adjuvant. [Conclusion] A proper separation and purification on extractive process or rational use of excipients can improve the moisture absorption properties of Paeoniae Radix Rubra extract and avoid from wetness. |
