Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the relevant factors and the enlightenment of nursing to liver Qi stagnation symptom in elderly with depression from the concept of traditional Chinese medicine. [Methods] Totally 296 depression patients according to the inclusion criteria wer enrolled Application of basic situation questionnaire, Zung's Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and table of common types and syndromes in TCM of depression, data in elderly with depression were processed by interaction effect test about gender, spouse, infection season and so on. [Results] The main type of the elderly depression was liver constraint and qi stagnation type. The number of spring incidence was the most and women patients were more than men patients. Patient who had no spouse manifested more serious symptoms than the one who had spouse. Elderly patients' somatic disorders in winter were more serious than in spring. [Conclusion] Combined with TCM symptoms and related factors should provide prevention and intervention for elderly with depression. |
