| "Differentiation of syndrome according to San Jiao in surgery" originated from "Experience Gained in Treating Sores" by GAO Bin-jun in Qing dynasty. Professor ZHANG Gen-yang used "syndrome differentiation according to San Jiao in treating sore and ulcer" with flexible fashion and considered that the etiology and pathogenesis on the upper part are win-warm and heat mostly and treated by dispelling wind and clearing heat with modified Niubang Jieji decoction; that on the middle part were Qi depression and fire stagnation mostly and treated by promoting the circulation of Qi, scattering fire and resolving depression with modified Chaihu Qinggan powder; that on the lower part were damp fire and heat mostly and treated by clearing heat and excreting dampness with modified Bixie Shenshi decoction. |
