Abstract
|
[Objective] To discuss the effect of Chinese compound prescription on the life quality of patients with chronic pneumogenic heart disease(CPHD) in type of Qi deficiency, blood stasis and phlegm stagnation, and explore the advantages and characteristics of intervention with the integrated Chinese and Western medicine in improving the quality of life. [Methods] Two hundred and forty diagnosed CPHD patients were enrolled randomly into this study. They were divided into treatment group(120 cases) and control group(120 cases). Control group were received Nifedipine orally based on the routine treatment, including oxygen inhalation and anti-infective treatment; while treatment group were received Chinese herbal compound prescription by oral way once a day based on the treatment as did in control group. One course of treatment was two weeks. The pulmonary function index, the quality of life score, six minutes walking distance of the two groups before and after treatment and the adverse reaction during treatment were recorded. [Results] 1)Compared with before treatment, the pulmonary function index, Saint George's respiratory questionnaire(SGRQ) results, six minutes walking distance were statistically significant(P<0.05) in both groups. 2)Compared with control group, the lung function index, SGRQ and the six minutes walking distance were statistically different(P<0.05) after treatment, showing an advantage of treatment group in improving lung function, quality of life; 6 minutes walking distance and so on. 3)There was a negative correlation between the three parts of SGRQ (symptoms, disease influence, excise), total score and FEV1 of expected value(the relevant coefficient-0.742). [Conclusion] Chinese herbal compound prescription can improve physiological, physical and social parameters, improve the function of lung, the distance of walking in six minutes and the quality of life in CPHD patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis combined with phlegm stagnation. |
