Abstract
The incidence of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) of women in childbearing age is about 6%~10%, which is account for 75% in anovulatory infertility. The investigations have revealed that the incidence of obese in PCOS is up to 50%~70%. What's more, it is getting more attention that the patient of PCOS with predominant obesity is more likely to be led to hyperinsulinemia, hyperlipemia, diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease.Spleen is the foundation of acquired constitution and the source of Qi and blood. The spleen likes dryness and hates wet. If spleen is wet hyperactivity, the function of spleen transportation and transformation and ascending lucidity will be hampered. And then, Qi and blood lack of sources, retention of dampness in vessel system, so Qi and blood do not have enough power to push; Spleen is source of phlegm, so when spleen fails to transport and ascend lucidity, phlegm-wet grows more. Thus, a vicious circle is developed.
