Treatise on Febrile Diseases was written in ancient times, but its quantitative mode of thinking coincident with modern medicine. The writer learns from her advisor ZHANG Guo-jun, who advocates correct views and profound insight of ancient experts as well as innovative thoughts of modern scholars. He has mentioned the concept of quantitative thoughts, which gives the writer a lot of inspiration. Through the analysis of source text and exploration of formulas and syndromes, the writer expatiate on this definition from three new aspects: time, degree and quantity. This article manifests the application of quantitative thoughts in Treatise on Febrile Diseases. It is beneficial for beginners to have a deep understanding of this book. |
