Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the effect and its therapeutic mechanism of vibrating abdomen combined with psychotherapy on primary dysmenorrhea (PD) with Qi stagnation and blood stasis. [Methods] One hundred and sixth-four cases with above type of PD were chosen and divided into three groups randomly. The treatment group with 79 cases were treated by combined treatment, while control group with 45 cases were treated by the pine vibration abdomen, the others with 40 cases were given Yuanhu Zhitong Pian for oral administration. We observed the clinical symptoms and the serum PGF2α in all the patients before and after treatment. [Results] Not only the cure and total effective rate but also the long-term effect of the treatment group were significantly higher than that of control. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The indexes of serum PGF2α before and after treatment in all groups were deceased obviously, but the difference of the treatment group was more statistically significantly (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The vibrating abdomen with psychotherapy treatment has indeed a good therapeutic effect on this disease. The improvement of clinical symptoms is obvious. The effect may be achieved through decreasing the content of PGF2α in the serum. |
