Abstract
|
[Objective] To discuss the methods of traditional Chinese medicine for evaluating the objective efficacy in treating chronic hepatitis B.[Methods] The TCM diagnostic instruments developed by the research group were applied. They were TCM electropulsograph, tongue instrument, home-made TCM symptom scale and traditional methods of diagnosis(observation, listening, interrogation and pulse-taking), objective clinical indicators in Western medicines, 19 statistical software for analysis.[Results] TCM objective evaluation indexes like TCM pulse image, tongue image and TCM symptom scale showed significant differences before and after treatment. There was some correlation between TCM objective evaluation indexes and existing Western medicine evaluation indexes.[Conclusion] Compared with existing Western medicine effect evaluation system, TCM effect evaluation system can reflect the changes of the patients' states on the whole and more objectively and has laid a foundation for noninvasive examination for effective evaluation of different illnesses. |
