Abstract
|
[Objective] To discuss the effects of Yiqi Tongluo formula on rats with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN) and explore its potential mechanisms.[Methods] The rat model of DPN was induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocinith, and DPN rats were divided into treatment group treated with daily Yiqi Tongluo formula for eight weeks. The expression of LDH, Bax, Caspase-3 and the number of cell apoptosis in the sciatic nerve were evaluated and compared.[Results] Compared with the model group, the number of apoptotic cells and the expression of LDH, Bax, Caspase-3 were lower in the Yiqi Tongluo group in rat sciatic nerve, while the expression of HO-1 is higher significantly.[Conclusion] Yiqi Tongluo formula can effectively increase the expression of HO-1, inhibit the oxidative damage and reduce cell apoptosis in sciatic nerve. |
