The traditional Chinese medicine is the crystallization of excellent culture of our country in the Chinese nation for thousands of years. The tongue and pulse-taking is also the indispensable important component in traditional Chinese medicine. Along with the development of computer technology, the data of the objective measurement of the tongue and pulse-taking has played a active role in the efficacy evaluation of Chinese medicine. But due to the lack of unification and standard of these objective data, all of these have increased the distance between Chinese and Western medicine in the evaluation of curative effect. It has also hindered the development of TCM. Therefore, research on data measurement of the tongue and pulse-taking in efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine is necessary and also the need of contemporary development of traditional Chinese medicine. |
