| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To study the effects of bakuchiol on testosterone and estradiol secretion from H295R cells. [Methods] The researches were divided into control group and bakuchiol groups. The effects of bakuchiol on cellular activites and the secretion of testosterone and estradiol were detected by CCK-8 method and ELISA method. The levels of CYP17A1 and CYP19A1 mRNA were also detected by Real-time PCR.[Results] Bakuchiol could not affect CYP17A1 mRNA leverl but could up-regulate CYP19A1 mRNA. Bakuchiol had the effect of decreasing the secretion of testosterone but increasing the secretion of estradiol. [Conclusion] Bakuchiol can stimulate estradiol secretion from H295R cells. |
