Abstract
|
In recent years, studies have shown that Salvianolic acid B play a protective role on damaged nerve cells. The mechanism includes promoting the stem cells proliferation and differentiation, maintaining intracellular calcium homeostasis and mitochondrial membrane potential, inhibiting inflammatory reaction, reducing free radicals, regulating expression of apoptosis-related genes and related neurotransmitter as well as regulating PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β, AK2/STAT3 pathway an so on. With its further research, there is hope for the treatment of cerebral ischemia, neuropathy and other diseases. |
