Abstract
    [Objective] Continue to study the constituents of Althaea rosea. [Methods] The chemical constituents were obtained through ODS, Silica gel column chromatorgraphies and PHPLC chromatorgraphy and identified by chemical and kinds of spectral analysis. [Results] Eight flavonones were obtained and determined as (2R,3R)-dihydrokaempferol-4'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (1), (2R,3R)-(+)-taxifolin (2), (2R,3R)-taxifolin-3'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), (2R,3R)-taxifolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4), (2R,3R)-dihydromyricetin-3'-O-glucoside (5), (2R,3R)-3,5,6,7,4'-pentahydroxyflavanonol (6), (2S)-4',5,7-trihydroxy flavanone (7), choerospondin (8), respectively. [Conclusion] Compounds 3-6 are obtained from Althaea genus firstly. On the other hand, the absolute configurations of all isolates are determined by CD spectrum.
